Extreme
Makeover: Home Edition
What a way to start the year! Amy was chosen to
participate in the ABC hit show "Extreme
Makeover: Home Edition". The filming was in
Raleigh, North Carolina, and the segment aired
on January 21, 2007.
An elated RIggins family was treated to the
luxury and personalization of Amy's decorative
painting. Everything from an armoire in the
kitchen, a princess' castle in the girls' room,
and a baseball diamond-shaped desk in the boy's
room received attention. Even the adjacent
Community Center received star treatment!

Amy Sullivan has
studied art since childhood and received a BS in
Interior Design from The University of
Tennessee.
She has
explored artistic ventures as
diverse as selling fine art at Atherton Mill,
studying Impressionistic painting on Cape Cod,
and locally with Rita Reed, apprenticing with a
master hand engraver in Charleston, and
providing decorative painting for interior
designers.
Results of these adventures led to
her decision to go full time into the world of
decorative painting and faux finishing. |

Amy has provided work for award
winning Interior Designers. Her work at this
year's Homearama was seen in the McSpadden House.
This was the Critic's Choice for Best Overall House and
Best Interior Design. Amy's work for Interior
Designer Amy Nash Griffin is seen there, and in
homes throughout the Charlotte and Lake Norman
Area.
